I’ve been at Southern Cross Care for a year now.
I did my Certificate III in Aged Care externally, got into SCC’s Graduate Program and am now a PCA.
SCC has given me more training in fire, manual handling and specialist courses.
I love what I do. I’d never leave SCC and I look forward to more studies with them.
SCC is so welcoming to everyone new – whether they’re a PCA, a Graduate, a resident or their family.
When we get time, we chat with residents and listen to their needs. They have 80, 90, 100 years of experience. Beside them, we know nothing!
My hobbies are music, sports, reading and movies.
I don’t feel like I’m working for money at SCC. I feel so lucky to be here – it’s everything to me!
