I’ve been at Southern Cross Care for six years. I started as a Chef Manager, then got promoted to Services Manager.
I’d love to work my way up to Catering Manager.
We provide the best quality service to residents by meeting their individual needs, be they dietary, cultural or religious.
SCC is very large, with great opportunities to move around. We’re opening in Darwin soon, so people can work up there if they wish.
We’re encouraged to keep training, learning new skills and improving ourselves.
We’re very flexible as a team and everyone works well together – more like a family.
I enjoy sports, music, travelling and coaching my son’s cricket team.
Without residents, we have no job. Our customers are our residents.
