Southern Cross Care (SA & NT) is a leading provider of an integrated range of services for the ageing populations of South Australia and Northern Territory. Following a strategic review of this rapidly growing business, Regional Manager appointments are being made to head up the 4 operational regions reporting to the Director Operations.

Focusing on the achievement of regional goals and related business plans, the Regional Managers will act and think strategically, anticipate and plan for future events, trends, problems and opportunities.

You will build the capability of the regional team through effective performance management and development practices and demonstrate a leadership style that encourages the retention and commitment of staff. You will also be a positive, constructive and key contributor to the Operations Leadership Team that fosters cohesive and unified peer relationships.

High level commercial acumen is required as you will manage overall financial performance of the region by analysing and reconciling financial reports, monitoring budgets, determining trends and areas of opportunity.

These appointments represent a significant milestone in the growth of Southern Cross Care, recognising the importance of innovation and flexibility in all that we do.

You will have significant senior management experience, a proven track record of developing and leading teams, and demonstrated ability to manage and deliver against a P&L.

Tertiary qualifications are essential and experience within the healthcare or aged care sector desirable. However, there is greater interest in identifying individuals who have proven capability to develop and manage a team autonomously, but still deliver results within a broader business structure.

Remuneration packages reflect the seniority of the roles and the expectation that the successful candidates will be well qualified and sought after for their skills.
