Opened in April 2011, Oaklands Park Lodge is a brand new facility built by Southern Cross Care. Rated five-star for practicality and luxury, it meets all the design requirements to make it a great place to live, work and enjoy.
Located in the popular suburb of Oaklands Park, this facility offers residents a wonderful lifestyle and environment that truly supports their needs. Oaklands Park Lodge has a total of 70 beds for memory support and high and low level care residents. It is close to Marion Shopping Centre and the beaches of Brighton and Glenelg. Local bus services are also located nearby allowing access to the city and surrounding areas.


Oaklands Park Lodge is a two level facility offering spacious individual rooms with their own en-suite facilities and views overlooking the gardens. Each room is wired for telephone, television and the latest in nurse call bell technology. All areas have roomy and bright dining rooms with accompanying areas to sit and listen to music, watch TV or gather for conversation. Small quiet areas are also scattered through the facility.
A private dining room is available for small family gatherings, along with a café which is open to visitors and residents. A hairdressing service is available in our onsite salon. Scrumptious meals prepared and cooked in the modern on site kitchen by our chef ensure a flexible menu that caters for all dietary requirements. Multi denominational pastoral care services and a quiet chapel are available to all residents.
Oaklands Park Lodge also has a team of leisure and lifestyle professionals, who assist residents to maintain their individual interests, develop new interests and retain their previous community involvements. The emphasis of Oaklands Park Lodge is to maximise social interaction while valuing the individual’s right to privacy. The spacious activity room has the capacity to hold large functions and lifestyle programs.
Registered and Enrolled Nurses, supported by Personal Care Assistants are available 24 hours a day to provide individualised, contemporary person centred care that promotes positive health outcomes. Person centred care ensures an individual is cared for in a manner to maintain their uniqueness.
